County Council/County Executive Pay raises.

Don't know how I missed this but I did. The County Council and County Executive all voted themselves a 15% pay raise in January. Now all the labor unions received through tough negations a 3% pay raise. How is this fair. The labor unions haven't had a cost of living increase for years but was able to get 3% in these tough times. But how fair is it that the Council which is part time work and the Executive gets a 15% pay raise?
