4 Men Injured in Fight Near Elementary School

At least three men were stabbed in the incident that occurred near Sandy Plains Elementary School at 4 a.m. Sunday.

(UPDATED 7:51 p.m.) Four men were injured in a multiple stabbing early Sunday in Dundalk, according to Baltimore County police officials.

Officers were called to the 1900 block of Jasmine Road, across the street from Sandy Plains Elementary School, just after 4 a.m.

Baltimore County police spokesman Lt. Rob McCullough told Patch that a 22-year-old man was in his car when a group of five or six men approached the vehicles holding knives.

WBAL also reported that the man then confronted the group with a knife of his own. At some point, the man from the car was stabbed in the abdomen and three others were also hurt in the altercation.

A Maryland State police helicopter flew two of the men to Shock Trauma, and another walked into Franklin Square Hospital Center to seek treatment. The victim from the car was transported to Bayview Medical Center and released, McCullough said.

Police have not made any arrests in the case and there is no motive known at this time.
