82-Year-Old Carjacked, Stolen Beagle, Assault and Burglary Among Recently Reported Crime

Here is a sampling of recently reported crimes in Precinct 12/North Point.

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Eastdale Road, 7900 block, 11:30 a.m., May 24. A teenage male armed with a knife stole a vehicle from an 82-year-old man. Police later stopped the vehicle and the suspect took off running, according to police reports. The suspect, police allege, then broke the front window of a home and ran through it.

A 16-year-old male from Baltimore City is charged with armed carjacking, armed robbery, robbery, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, unlawful removal of property and theft of less than $1,000.

Penhall Road, 1900 block, 9:30 p.m., May 22. According to police reports, a burglar walked onto the porch at a home and assaulted one of the residents.

Russell Sean Feuerhardt, 21, of the 7900 block of Shore Road, is charged with threatening arson, second-degree assault, disturbing the peace, trespassing and fourth-degree burglary.

N. Avondale Road, 600 block, between 1:50 p.m. and 2:22 p.m., May 23. A burglar entered the back door of a home and attacked the female resident there, according to police reports. The woman bit and cut the suspect during the struggle, according to police, who reported that both the victim and suspect were present when they arrived.

Rodney Leon Banks, 45 of 100 block of Rogers Cockrell Lane, Dundalk, is charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree assault and fourth-degree sex offense.

Sollers Point Road, 7000 block, 11:20 a.m., May 23. Two Dundalk High School students, cutting school, entered property through a hole in a nearby fence and then entered the vacant Seagram’s buildings. The two students were charged with fourth-degree burglary and trespassing.

North Point Road, 7500 block, between 6 p.m. May 14 and 5 p.m. May 15. An unknown burglar entered a fenced yard and removed a 3-year-old beagle that was brown with some white spots.

St. Patricia Court, 7400 block, sometime before 1:30 p.m., May 22. An unknown burglar or burglars entered a home through an unlocked rear door. Once inside, the suspects stole a black Taurus 9mm handgun, valued at $500, and a silver necklace with charm, valued at $530.

S. Avondale Road, 700 block, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., May 23. A burglar or burglars forced open a rear door at a home and stole a television and $3,000 in currency.
