Area Five Below Stores to Raise Money for Fallen Firefighter's Family
From Feb. 13-19, several stores are donating a portion of their sales to the family of Mark Falkenhan, the volunteer firefighter who was killed in the line of duty on Jan. 19.
Seven area Five Below stores are teaming together to help raise money for the family of the volunteer firefighter who was killed while battling a four-alarm apartment blaze in Hillendale last month.
The participating stores — Golden Ring, Hunt Valley, Owings Mills, Arundel Mills, Columbia and Bel Air — have pledged to donate 10 percent of sales from Feb. 13-19 to the Baltimore County Fallen Firefighters Foundation fund set up to assist the family of Mark Falkenhan.
The 43-year-old firefighter, who lived in Middle River, died Jan. 19 while fighting an apartment fire. He left behind his wife Gladys and two sons, Christian, 14, and Garrett, 5.

Those wishing to participate in this fundraiser are asked to bring in the attached flier and present it to the cashier at the time of purchase.
