Armed Robbers Hit Subway, High's, Pedestrians

Shipping Place, unit block, 9:21 p.m., July 11. An unidentified male entered the Subway store in the historic Dundalk Shopping Center, approached an employee and put a box cutter to his throat. The employee told the robber there was no money in the register and the police were on the way. A struggle ensued and the employee forced the robber out of the store with a metal chair. The robber fled, grabbing two bags of chips on his way out the door.

Dundalk Avenue, 6800 block, 10:08 p.m., July 9. A male wearing a ski mask entered the High's store, pointed a small, black revolver at an employee and removed $561 from the cash register before fleeing toward Belclare Road.

Willow Spring Road and Patapsco Avenue, 10:18 p.m., July 8. A 24-year-old male reported he was robbed of $100 by a teenage male with a gun.

Ventnor Terrace, 100 block, 11:50 p.m., June 26. Two armed robbers broke into a home and began beating a 21-year-old resident with a metal pole. A 23-year-old female resident tried to flee upstairs, according to police reports, but was caught and hit on the head. A black handgun was then put into her mouth and $60 was stolen from her. 

German Hill Road and Jaydee Avenue, 3:30 a.m., June 27. An unidentified male exited a large, red four-door car and approached a 23-year-old woman, putting a handgun to her back. The armed robber demanded she drop her purse and bag and stole clothes, a purse and currency valued at $267.

Holabird Avenue, 7400 block, 1 a.m. June 21. A 22-year-old male was walking when he was struck from behind. He was taken to the ground and assaulted by a second male and was robbed of $265 in currency. One of the attackers was armed with a black, semi-automatic handgun.
