Attempted Robbery At North Point 7-11

A store employee was cut during an attempted robbery at a local 7-11 Friday morning and was taken to Bayview Hospital for treatment with non-life threatening injuries.

Balitmore County police responded to a call at 4:42 a.m. Friday morning from the 7-11 in the 900 block of North Point Boulevard.

"During the attempted, the suspect cut on the employee on his face," said Det. Cathy Batton, a Baltimore County police spokeswoman.

Batton did not know as of early Friday afternoon what was stolen – if anything – from the store. 

Baltimore County police are investigating, she said.
