Police Seek Vehicles in Edgemere Hit-and-Run

David Alexander Mack died as a result of being hit by one car and run over by another on North Point Boulevard.

Nearly one week after David Alexander Mack, 77, was struck and killed on North Point Boulevard, the Baltimore County Police Department is still searching for the two vehicles that hit him on March 14.

On Wednesday, investigators stated that they have determined one of the vehicles was a gold Nissan Altima. The car was an early- to mid-2000s model.

According to police, Mack was standing on the northbound lane of North Point Boulevard near Delmar Avenue on March 14 when he was hit by one vehicle and run over by another. Both vehicles left the scene, police said.

Law enforcement officials reported finding Mack's body in the road at 9:44 p.m. Thursday.

Medical personnel responded and pronounced him dead, police said.

A memorial service for Mack will be held March 23.
