Broening Road High's Store Robbed at Gunpoint

Two thieves got away with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured.

No one was injured when two armed men robbed the High's convenience store on Broening Road this morning.

Baltimore County police officers responded to the store at 6801 Broening Road at about 11:42 a.m. for a report of an armed robbery, according to police Spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher.

The men, wearing dark clothing and of medium height and weight, robbed the cashier at gunpoint and got away with an undetermined amount of cash, Rogers-Feher said.

"They were in, out and no one got hurt," Rogers-Feher said. "But they did have a handgun."

The police spokeswoman said the cashier was smart, did what the robbers said and did not confront or challenge the men.

"Everyone did what they were told and everyone is OK," Rogers-Feher said.
