Carjacking, Dundalk High School Burglary and Armed Robbery Among Recently Reported Crimes

The following crime log is a sampling of recently reported crimes from Precinct 12.

Sollers Point Road and Merritt Boulevard, 10:45 p.m.,  March 25. The victim was operating his 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass  and came to a stop at the above location. One of the suspects stood in front of the car and the other suspect approached the driver’s side of the car, displaying a handgun and ordered the victim out of his car. The suspect struck the victim with an unknown object and both suspects fled in the victim’s car.

Eastern Boulevard, 7800 block, between 10 a.m. and 10:50 a.m., March 28. After taking a bus to the Eastpoint Mall, the victim left the mall and began to walk on nearby railroad tracks, where he was punched and threatened at knife point. The victim gave the armed robber his cell phone, according to police.

Jason David Stone, 23, of the 200 block of S. Conkling St., was charged with armed robbery, second-degree assault and possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure. According to online court records, he remains committed to Baltimore County Detention Center. A preliminary hearing is set for April 29.

Delvale Avenue, 1900 block, between 3 p.m. and 3:35 p.m., March 25. Five student suspects stole keys to Dundalk High School from a teacher and gained entry, stealing an iPhone, $30 and chewing gum.

Westfield Road, 7500 block, between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., March 28. A burglar or burglars entered a bedroom window at the above location and stole a 32-inch television and work boots.

Wallford Drive, 3400 block, between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., March 31. An X-box with controllers, headset and keyboard were stolen. Police believe the burglar entered the home through the front door and stole the above items.

Dunmurry Road, 2900 block, between 12:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., March 30.  A burglar or burglars entered the above location by forcing the front door window open, stealing a Wii game console, lockbox and tattoo equipment.

Boundary Road, 8000 block, between 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., March 27. A burglar entered the above location and unlocked a side window and stole $121 from a safe. The suspect’s wallet was found near the window where entry was gained, according to police.

Berkshire Road, 7400 block, between noon and 12:30 p.m. March 25. A burglar entered the victim’s unlocked rear basement door and stole a 32-inch television.
