Crime: Home Invasion, Arson, Armed Robbery Among Recently Reported Crimes

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Lodge Farm Road, 2600 block, 1:15 a.m, Aug. 3. Two men wearing black clothes and ski masks, one armed with a silver revolver and the other with a crowbar, entered a home and assaulted a 46-year-old man with the above mentioned weapons. The two men then fled on foot northbound on Lodge Farm Road towards North Point Road.

Logan View Drive, 3400 block, 12:11 a.m., Aug. 2. A man was banging and attempting to enter a residence, later proceeding to go into the garage, police allege. A suspect was detained and arrested at the scene, according to police.

Paul Stacy Shatney, 38, of the 7000 block of Dunbar Road, Dundalk, was charged with fourth-degree burglary and trespassing.

Mid Haven Road, 8100 block, between July 17 and July 18. Police allege a burglar removed a glass pane from the basement door to gain access into the home. Once inside, police allege, the burglar stole $600 in currency, and Oxycodone and Percocet pills. The suspect, according to police, is the son and daughter of the two victims.

Bruce R. Reeb, 32, of no fixed address, was charged with first-degree, third-degree and fourth-degree burglary, on Aug. 7. According to online records, he remains committed to the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Steel Avenue, 2500 block, between July 22 and Aug. 3. An unknown suspect or suspects attempted to set a residence on fire. The rear, wood gate and siding was destroyed.

N. Avondale and Rayme Road, 700 block, 12:30 a.m., July 30. A 28-year-old male was walking home from a bus stop when he was assaulted by an unknown subject and robbed of his wallet and cell phone.

Merritt Boulevard, 1100 block, 5:23 a.m., July 29. An unknown male approached a 55-year-old man from behind at an ATM machine, producing a silver pipe and demanding money. The victim handed $60 to the robber, who fled on foot.

Grays Road, 2000 block, between 11 p.m. July 25 and 3 p.m. July 26. An unknown burglar or burglars entered World Point Services by smashing open a rear door. An air conditioner, valued at $100; fishing rods, valued at $25; and a computer, valued at $300, were stolen.
