Crime Report: Mugging The Elderly; Tossing Flower Pots

Dundalk Avenue, 3000 block, 2:44 p.m., May 31. A 28-year-old Dundalk woman was arrested and charged with following an 85-year-old man into his house, pushing him to the ground and stealing his wallet, which contained $20, police said. Jessica Marie Guy of the 3200 block of Dundalk Avenue has been charged with robbery, second-degree assault, theft of less than $1,000 and two counts of possession of a controlled substance not marijuana. Guy is being held in the Baltimore County Detention Center, according to online records.

Eastdale Road, 8000 block, 12 a.m., June 1. A 44-year-old Dundalk woman was arrested and charged with throwing a clay flower pot at a neighbor as the two were arguing. Police have accused Sarah Louise Schaaf of the 9000 block of Eastdale Rd. of tossing the pot from her rear patio deck and striking her neighbor in the leg with it. Schaaf has also been accused of waving a gun at another neighbor, police said. Yet no gun was found in a search of her home. Schaaf was charged with first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault and disorderly conduct. According to online records, Schaaf posted bond and was released from the Baltimore County Detention Center on June 2.

Dunlawn Court, 7300 block, between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., June 3. A burglar entered a house, most likely with a key, according to police reports, and took a H & R single-shot shotgun.

Bayfront Road, 7400 block, between 8 p.m. June 2 and 11:35 a.m. June 4. A resident walked into her kitchen and observed that a large Utz pretzel container filled with quarters was missing. The back door to the home was slightly open and no one else has keys to her home, she told police.

Alvah Avenue, 7400 block, between 4:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., May 30. A burglar entered a home at the above location by removing a screen to an open window and once inside, took 30 necklaces, valued at $3,000; 22 bracelets, valued at $300; a cell phone, valued at $200; 20 sticks of lip gloss, valued at $200; three body sprays, valued at $24; and a piggy bank, valued at $150.

Delvale Avenue, 1300 block, between 11:30 a.m. May 28 and 11:30 a.m. May 30. A resident returned from vacation and learned that several valuables were missing: a necklace valued at $500, a camcorder valued at $500, a ring valued at $4,500, a ring valued at $375, and coins valued at $50.
