Dollar Store Employee Robbed Making Deposit Drop
Armed robbery, arson and first-degree home burglaries among local crimes reported recently.
March 8, 4 a.m. - 4:30 a.m.: Armed Robbery. In an alley between Gough St. and Lansdale Road, three suspects stole $30 and 30 suboxone pills from a victim. One of the suspects asked the victim for a cigarette, then another suspect struck the victim across the face with a wooden leg from a table. The victim fell to the ground and the suspects took the items and fled.
March 7, 9:55 p.m.: Robbery. Outside the Dollar Tree store in the 7800 block of Wise Ave., a suspect wearing a black, open face mask, black hoodie and dark pants approached a store employee making a night deposit drop and demanded the money. The suspect grabbed the women’s purse and pushed her to the ground, fleeing on foot. A cell phone, gold necklace and $722 in currency were reported stolen.
March 7: Theft. During an unknown timeframe, suspects entered the parking lot and removed the rims and tires from a 2011 Chevy Impala, and left the vehicle on cider blocks.

March 7, 12:30 a.m.: Second-degree arson. A complainant in the 8200 block of Beach Drive reported she heard a loud bang in front of her home. When she looked outside, she observed her son’s 2007 Ford F-150 truck on fire. Baltimore County Fire Department investigators are looking into the fire.
March 6, 1:30 p.m.: Second-degree burglary. At the North Point Flea Market, two suspects forced their way into a business and took coins valued at $2,243 and three backpacks, fleeing on foot as owners gave chase.

March 4, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.: First-degree burglary. Unknown suspects entered a home in the 100-block of Glenard Middleton Court through the front window. Various jewelry worth $920, $400 in cash, a Wii game system worth $200 and Wii games worth $650 were reported stolen.
March 4, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.: First-degree burglary. Unknown suspects forced entry through the basement into a home in the 3500 block of Dunhaven Road and stole a 26-inch flat-screen television.
March 3 to March 8: First-degree burglary. Unknown suspects entered a home in the 2500 block of Popes Lane by unknown means and stole a safe containing a Ruger 9mm, model 95, semi-automatic handgun.
