Police Issue Silver Alert for Man Missing After…

Dundalk Argument Over a Woman Ends in Stabbing

The 20-year-old victim is listed in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

A man is listed in critical condition at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in a stabbing Monday morning, according to Baltimore County Police Department officials.

Police responded to a call in the 7300 block of Dunmanway early on Sept. 3 about two men arguing over a woman, according to Officer Shawn Vinson. The call was resolved and police left the scene.

Later, at 9:41 a.m., an officer in the 2100 block of Dunmanway observed a stabbing.

The same two men from the earlier altercation had continued their fight over the woman, according to Vinson.

During the fight, the suspect stabbed the victim in the stomach, according to Vinson.

The victim, a 20-year-old man, was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview, where he is listed in critical condition.

No other information is available at this time.

Yes, because nothing says "I love you" like stabbing a rival. What is going on down in that part of town? It used to be a nice place where hard working, blue collar families made a living AND a decent life. Very sad.

What's going on is that, like Cockesyville, Dundalk has begin inundated with crap from the city. Baltimore County needs to stand up for its tax paying citizens and get rid of these people

There are more Landlords in Dundalk these days that rent out to anyone with a voucher. Home ownership is at an all time low. It really does bring a community down. I love my community but it is getting dangerous. A lot different from when I was younger.

Dundalk was nice until section 8 started ruling all over

Landlords will take section 8 over a person with a job because they have a dog. My dog is better behaved then most of these damn kids

Bill. The landlords take section 8 applicants because the money is guaranteed and paid for by the government. The check arrives in the mail the 1st of each month without any hastle collecting it. The renter usually only pays a rediculuosly small portion, so if not collected no big deal.

Shell9, blame the government especially the Obama administration. They give landlords more rental income to rent to Section 8 renters. It seems the way to go is be poor and have all your needs taken care of by the government. That gives the low lifes more time for crime, since they don't have to work!

The landlord in my neighborhood rents to Section 8 renters because she is receiving $300 more a month than she previously received from non Section 8 renters. These renters have 9 people in a small townhouse. This includes 2 mothers, 2 boyfriends and kids. This is what happen when we have liberal politics.

Not sure how this topic went from stabbing to section 8 but wince we are. Also a Dundalk home owner that was previously on section 8 until I was able to buy. There are two section 8 renters that cause hell on my block. Each house has at least a minimum of 8 people maybe more in each that i am certain are not on the lease. When I was in their shoes I had respect for myself, house, neighborhood and kids. These people down from me don't seem to care if they can ever say this is mine as long as they are getting a handout from someone (housing, welfare, energy assistance, churches). Can't blame the government that these people don't try to help themselves. It is fine for assistance to get through a situation and move on. I wanted more for my family and to show my kid that hard work gets you through life not a check, voucher and food stamps.

I think this story and any other story that involving this type of topic will continue to go back to the number of section 8 homes in Dundalk and the trouble it has brought this once great community. As for your story ASFM, congrats on your hard word getting of the system.

Anyone remember "move to opportunity"? That's what this is, it is just getting bigger and bigger. I love driving near DMS and seeing all those able bodied young people hanging out while my a$$ has to go to work.
Eastsider September 06, 2012 at 12:29 AM
They are hard at work selling drugs and sex while collecting free Obama money.

The call was resolved and the police left the scene and had to return for a stabbing?

The goverment also figure if we are already giving them free housing, food stamps and insurance why not fo all out and give them free drugs. When I was taking the bus to work every morning I would alway see at least 20 or 30 peoples on there way to or from the free meth clinics. I only know this because there either nodding off or talking to one another how they were cut down on there dose and now have to get a hook up. In my opinion someone just needs to put some bad shit in the meth at the clinics.

I was 22 had two children and $15.00 when I left my husband that was abusing me. I didn't have a car but I did have section 8, food stamps, help with day care and determination to succeed in life. I rode the bus to school/work and lived in the section 8 apartment for five years until I got back on my feet. A few years later I purchased a car and then my home right here in Dundalk. Don't stop helping those who hep themselves! For every 10 slackers there is one that really appreciates the help.
