Dundalk Boy Struck in Hit and Run

Police are searching for person who appears to have hit the child on purpose.

Baltimore County police need assistance finding the person who apparently struck a Dundalk teen while driving a pick-up truck on Friday.

According to a news release from county police, Gabriel Hudgins, 14, of the 3300 block of Walford Drive told police he was crossing the intersection of Walford Drive and Charlesmont Road around 5:40 p.m. when he was struck by dark silver or gray Cheverolet Silverado/1500 truck.

The victim and other witnesses told police that "the suspect vehicle accelerated and veered toward [him] striking him in the arm," the release continued.

Police said the person they are seeking is described as an "older white male with a heavy build and short gray hair" and his truck may have passenger-side damage.

According to the news release, the victim "was transported to Franklin Square Hospital where he was treated and released."
