Dundalk Crime: 4 Businesses, Legion Post Robbed

Dundalk Avenue, 3300 block, between 10:50 p.m. Aug. 30 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 31. The American Legion Post No. 38 was burglarized of $6,000 cash and a video tape.

German Hill Road, 7700 block, 2:50 a.m., Aug. 29. A man entered the and approached the counter, telling the cashier he had a gun and demanding the money from the register. The cashier, fearing the man had a gun, began to open the register when the man said, "I'll just take the whole damn thing." The robber then ran out of the store on foot toward Plainfield Road.

Broening Road, 6800 block, 9:35 p.m., Aug. 28. A man entered the store and approached the cashier, asking for money from the register. Then, the man demanded the money and implied he had a weapon. The cashier surrendered about $100, and the robber fled on foot toward Turner Station.

Wise Avenue, 200 block, 5:24 a.m., Aug. 28. About $200 worth of Vicodin, Lortapand Hydrocodone was stolen from 

Merritt Boulevard, 1700 block, between 8 a.m. Aug. 22 and 6:35 a.m. Aug. 23. Two receipts, a check and $375 were stolen from ABC Driving School. The rear glass door was busted open, the report stated.

Dundalk Avenue, unit block, 2:55 a.m. Sept. 9. The frame of the rear door was bent and a rear window was broken at Turk's Cleaners, but no one entered the store.
