Dundalk Crime: Armed Robbers Hit Liquor Store

North Point Boulevard, 3800 block, 8:30 a.m., Aug. 18. Two armed robbers held up a liquor store owner last month, getting away with more than $6,000 in cash, according to Baltimore County police.

The suspects got out of a mid-sized, maroon SUV and approached the owner of North Point Liquors as he opened the business. After ordering him inside the store, one alleged robber pointed a black, semi-automatic handgun while the second robber removed $6,000 from the store as well as $30 in rolled coins.

The robbers also took the store owner's wallet before fleeing in their vehicle.

Rita Road, 1700 block, 12:16 a.m., Aug. 17. Three teenage boys approached a 34-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, allegedly displayed a black pellet revolver and demanded money. The teenagers took $10 and ran away. Three juvenile males were apprehended shortly afterward by police and charged with armed robbery.

S. Avondale Road, block unknown, 4:34 p.m., Aug. 15. A 16-year-old boy was allegedly approached by three males, assaulted and robbed of a cell phone and $50. Gerald D. Dawkins, Jr., 18, of the 100 block of Willowspring Road, was charged with robbery, second-degree assault and theft of less than $1,000. He remains committed to Baltimore County Detention Center.

Wise Avenue and Lynch Avenue intersection, 2:25 p.m., Aug. 15. Three men approached a 19-year-old man, surrounded him and attempted to reach in his pockets to take his wallet.

Montario Vchelle McArthur, 19, 4300 block of Marble Hall Road, Baltimore, was charged with robbery, second-degree assault and theft of less than $1,000. He remains committed to Baltimore County Detention Center.

Antonio M. Lewis, 20, of the 2000 block of Dineen Dr., Dundalk, was charged with robbery, second-degree assault and theft of less than $1,000. He was released from Baltimore County Detention Center after posting bond.

North Point Boulevard, 2300 block, 2 p.m., Aug. 12. A man approached a 37-year-old woman in the parking lot while she was loading her car. He struck the woman in the back of the head, stole her purse and fled in a black, four-wheel drive vehicle driven by a woman.
