Dundalk Crime: Burglaries, Robberies and an Assault

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Nov. 10: First-degree burglary, 2000 block of Codd Ave.

Between 5 and 6 p.m., an unknown suspect forced open a basement window and stole computers, jewelry, sunglasses and money.

Nov. 10: Armed robbery - pepper spray, 2700 block of North Point Road

At about 5 p.m., the victims were working in the Sky Nails Salon when the suspect entered and requested a manicure and pedicure. The suspect then said she had to leave, but took money from the register as she was leaving. When the victim confronted her, the suspect pepper-sprayed the victim and fled on foot. As the suspect was running, a vehicle pulled up beside her and the driver asked if everything was okay. The suspect then pepper-sprayed the driver as well, and continued to flee on foot. The suspect was last seen running between two homes on Ashwood Road. The suspect is a female, 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-5, with a medium build and long brown hair.

Nov. 8: Second-degree assault - bias incident, Wise Avenue and Kirkland Road

At 12:20 p.m., the victim was working on a sewer in the area and cordoned off part of the street. A man driving down the street began to drive through the cones, and the victim told him to go around the cones. The driver then began yelling racial slurs at the victim, spat at the victim and then fled the scene. There is no suspect description, but the suspect was operating a GMC van.

Nov. 6 to Nov. 8: Second-degree burglary, Unit block of Yuma Street

Between noon on Nov. 6 and 1 p.m. on Nov. 8, an unknown suspect gained entry to a Liberty Mobile Home Park garage through unknown means. The suspect took a furnace.

Nov. 1: Armed robbery - gun, 1400 block of Merritt Boulevard

At 3:15 p.m., the victim was working as a teller at the PNC Bank inside Giant Food when the suspect approached. The suspect displayed a gun and demanded money. The suspect fled in a vehicle after receiving the money. The suspect is a man, 6-foot, 200 pounds with a medium build and light complexion.

Nov. 1 to Nov. 2: Fourth-degree burglary, 7400 block of North Point Road

Between 3 p.m. on Nov. 1 and 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 2, an unknown suspect entered Sparrows Point High School and stole steel drums.
