Dundalk Crime: Guns, Hammer Used in Robberies, Assaults

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

June 8: Armed robbery, 7900 block of Saint Bridget Lane, 21222

At 10:05 p.m., the victim told officers that he was walking home from the store when he was assaulted by two suspects. He told officers that one of the suspects struck him with a hammer and took his wallet. The first suspect is a white man with short, gray hair. There is no description of the second suspect.

June 8: Armed robbery—gun, 2300 block of Ruth Avenue, 21219

At 9:58 p.m., a man entered Peninsula Liquors and displayed a gun. He demanded money and cigarettes. The suspect fled from the store after the cashier complied. A patrol officer later located the suspect vehicle and arrested the occupants. Lauren Pagano, 24, of the 7900 block of Wise Avenue, 21222, and James Lowery, 24, of the 8100 block of Gray Haven Road, 21222, were arrested and charged with robbery.

June 2: Attempted murder—gun, 8000 block of Lansdale Road, 21224

At about 1 a.m., the victim and the suspect got into an argument. The suspect pointed a shotgun at the victim and pulled the trigger, but it was unloaded. The victim and the suspect got into a struggle over the gun, and the victim was struck with the weapon during the fight.  Ashley Whipp, 19, of the 8000 block of Lansdale Road, 21224, was arrested and charged with assault.

May 29: First-degree burglary, 1900 block of Church Road, 21222

Between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., two suspects used a roof hatch to enter two row homes. Jewelry was taken.

May 27: First-degree assault—gun, 7900 block of Bank Street, 21224

Between 10 and 10:25 p.m., an unknown suspect fired a gun at the rear window of the victim's home. There were no injuries.

May 27: Armed robbery—gun, 7200 block of East Baltimore Street, 21224

At 3:58 a.m., the victim was outside the 7-Eleven sweeping the sidewalk when the suspect approached him and displayed a gun. The suspect ordered the victim back into the store and demanded money from the register. The suspect fled on foot after the victim complied. The suspect is a black man, 6-foot, with brown eyes.

May 25: First-degree burglary, 8100 block of Stratman Road, 21222

Between 5:40 and 8:50 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the victim's home through an unlocked rear window. Jewelry, purses, a bow and a jewelry box were taken.

May 25 to May 26: Second-degree burglary, 900 block of Wise Avenue, 21222

Between 10:05 a.m. on May 25 and 5:45 a.m. on May 26, an unknown suspect entered the Sparrow's Point Country Club maintenance shop through unknown means. Radios and an ATV were taken.
