Dundalk Crime Roundup: Carjacking, Burglary, Assault

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Dec. 25: Armed carjacking, End of Lyndhurst Road

At noon, a woman picked up her ex-boyfriend and allowed him to drive her vehicle. The suspect assaulted the victim, displayed a knife and then forced her to get out of the vehicle. The suspect kept the victim's son with him. The suspect later met the victim and gave her the keys to her car, but refused to return the child. The suspect took the child to a relative's home, and the victim was able to arrange for another family member to pick up her son. The child was not harmed.

Between 5:30 and 6 p.m., an unknown suspect forced a dryer vent out of the wall in the basement to enter the home. Money was taken.

At 6:20 p.m., the victim was behind Battle Grove Elementary School when he was approached by two men wearing masks. He reported that the two men assaulted him with a nightstick but that he was able to wrestle the nightstick away from them. The two men fled on foot.
