Dundalk Crime Roundup: Multiple Burglaries

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

A roundup of recent criminal activity in Greater Dundalk:

Feb. 25: Commercial burglary, 7600 block of Eastern Boulevard

At 5:18 a.m., an unknown suspect broke a window to enter Mo's Seafood. Money was stolen from a safe in the office.

Feb. 23: Destruction of property (bias incident), 8100 block of Wise Avenue

At 5:42 p.m., an unknown suspect painted racist graffiti on the tennis court at Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts. The suspect is a male with a medium build.

Feb. 23 to Feb. 25: Fourth-degree burglary/grand theft auto, 8200 block of Bletzer Road

Between noon on Feb. 23 and 12:45 a.m. Feb. 25, an unknown suspect entered the partially fenced-in yard of Harris Camden Terminal Equipment. The suspect took a tractor, a trailer and two steel coils.

Feb. 22: Firearms discharge, 8200 block of North Point Road

At 9:07 p.m., officers located a pit bull dog that had been involved in a bite incident earlier in the day. The dog began to aggressively advance towards officers, and the officers discharged their weapons, fatally wounding the dog.

Feb. 18: First-degree burglary, 8100 block of Gray Haven Road

Between noon and 4 p.m., an unknown suspect forced open the basement door and took a laptop and jewelry.

Feb. 15: First-degree burglary, 1700 block of Ranch Lane

Between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the home through unknown means and took electronics, jewelry, tools, gift cards, and clothing.

Feb. 9 to Feb. 10: Second-degree burglary, 7200 block of North Point Road

Between 8 p.m. on Feb. 9 and 10 a.m. on Feb. 10, an unknown suspect cut a lock to enter an exterior freezer at Captain Jimmy's Crab House. Four bushels of crabs and two totes were taken.

Feb. 6: Robbery, Alexander and Ruth avenues

At 2:30 a.m., a woman reported that two suspects followed her home from work and approached her when she parked her car. The suspects took the victim's purse, cell phone charger, and jacket. The suspects fled in a vehicle. Detectives have identified a suspect in the case and the investigation is ongoing.
