Dundalk Man Struck by Car, Is Hospitalized

A Dundalk man struck by a car early Thursday evening is hospitalized today with serious injuries.

Baltimore County police responded to a call at about 6:51 p.m., Nov. 8, about a pedestrian struck at the intersection of Wise Avenue and Merritt Boulevard, according to police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathy Batton.

When they arrived, officers found that Robert Coughlin, 20, of the 2900 block of Dunbrin Road, had been struck by a 2005 Hyundai Elantra driven by Deborah Brzezenski, 55, of the 1800 block of Church Road.

Officers determined that Coughlin was crossing Wise Avenue when he was hit by Brzezenski's car as it traveled east on Wise Avenue.

Coughlin was taken by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center with serious injuries, according to Batton.

No charges will be filed against the driver, Batton said.
