Beach Avenue Fire in Dundalk Ruled Arson

Baltimore County police are investigating the fire.

Investigators have determined that a fire in Dundalk's Rosewald Beach neighborhood on March 19 was an arson, Baltimore County police spokeswoman Cathy Batton said.

On March 19, crews were dispatched to a fire reported on the 8200 block of Beach Drive, according to Batton.

A BGE employee was conducting a service call at a vacant home around 12:45 p.m. when he noticed that a rear sliding glass door was open and that there was smoke coming from the fireplace, Baltimore County police said.
