UPDATE: Dundalk Shooting, Stabbing in Possible Home Invasion Robbery

Police responded to the 700 block of Aldworth Road Sunday morning.

UPDATE (9:40 p.m.)—Two victims of a possible home invasion robbery in Dundalk were hospitalized on Sunday morning, Baltimore County police announced.

At about 10:44 a.m. on May 27, police responded to the 700 block of Aldworth Road, where an 30-year-old male suffered a gun shot wound and a 28-year-old female suffered multiple stabbing wounds. The man and woman are boyfriend and girlfriend, police said.

The man was flown by medevac to Maryland Shock Trauma with serious injuries, while the woman was taken by ambulance to MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, according to police. Neither injuries are considered life-threatening.

According to a police statement, "Detectives are investigating this incident as a possible attempted home invasion robbery. Detectives have learned that two black males forced in the rear door of the home. There was a confrontation between the victims and the suspects, and the victims were injured. There is no additional description of the suspects. Detectives have not determined a motive at this time."
