Michael Force of the unit block of North Point Terrace was arrested Oct. 18 for allegedly stealing a motorcycle from Bmore Careful Towing.

Police have arrested a Dundalk man who allegedly was driving a stolen motorcycle in an erratic manner.

Michael Force, 19, of the unit block of North Point Terrace, was arrested Oct. 18 after police determined the motorcycle he was operating had been stolen from Bmore Careful Towing's property in the 3900 block of North Point Boulevard. The theft occurred sometime between 9 p.m., Oct. 17, and 10:25 a.m., Oct. 18, according to North Point Precinct 12 police reports.

Towing company officials said a chain that secures the gate to the towing yard was cut. After gaining access to the property, the suspects attempted to break into a tow truck but were unsuccessful.

The suspects did succeed in taking a motorcycle from the property.

Later on Oct. 18, a Baltimore County police officer spotted a motorcycle being operated in an erratic fashion and was able to catch up to it near St. Fabian and St. Augustine lanes in North Point Village, according to police department Spokeswoman Cpl. Cathy Batton.

Force was charged with second- and fourth-degree burglary, malicious destruction of property, unlawful motor vehicle taking and theft of between $1,000 and $10,000, according to Batton.

A 16-year-old male was also charged in the incident, according to police reports.
