Fire Damages 2 Dundalk Church Buses

Arson is suspected in a fire that heavily damaged the Calvary Baptist Church buses.

Two church buses were damaged by a fire early Monday morning, according to Baltimore County Police Department Det. Cathy Batton.

One bus was heavily damaged by a fire that was reported to authorities just before 4 a.m. March 19, Batton told Patch. An adjacent bus sustained heat damage from the fire that was set on the first bus.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze that mainly involved the windshield and engine areas of the bus, Batton said Tuesday.

There were no injuries, she said.

The fire is being investigated by the fire department's arson team and there are no suspects at this time, Batton said.

"This is a felony arson, so anyone with any information could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000," Batton said.
