Friday Morning Dundalk Crash Sends 3 to Hospital

The head-on collision on North Point Road sent three elderly patients to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

A Friday morning crash on North Point Road hospitalized three elderly people, according to Baltimore County Police Department officials.

Police responded to the crash in the 3200 block of North Point Road near Wallace Road at about 9:20 a.m. for the report of a head-on crash.

Police determined that a 1995 Buick Skylark, driven by a 72-year-old woman, was traveling northbound on North Point Road when she crossed the double yellow line and hit an oncoming 2003 Dodge Caravan driven by a 71-year-old man.

Both drivers and a 73-year-old woman, a passenger in the Caravan, were all taken by ambulance to the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. One patient was described as having serious injuries and two had minor injuries, according to a police spokeswoman.
