In a press release, Maryland State Police said they received multiple 911 calls reporting a single-vehicle accident and upon arrival, emergency responders and troopers discovered the vehicle off the left side of the roadway.

According to state police, the vehicle had extensive damage consistent with a vehicle that had rolled over. The vehicle came to rest in a wooded tree line after passing through brush and striking several small trees. At some point, the driver was ejected from the vehicle. Preliminary evidence indicated the drive was not wearing a seatbelt, state police said.
