Firefighters Knock Out Fort Howard Kitchen Fire

The blaze on North Point Road was reported Wednesday evening.

Firefighters responded to what was reported as a house fire in Fort Howard at 6:49 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Baltimore County fire dispatch personnel.

When firefighters arrived at the home in the 9200 block of North Point Road, they found that a pot of food on the stove caught fire and spread to the kitchen, the dispatcher said.

The fire was knocked out shortly after 7 p.m., according to the dispatcher, who said there were no injuries. It was not immediately known whether anyone was in the house at the time.
