Man Charged With Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct Near Ocean City
State troopers responded to a call of a man lying on the road on westbound Route 50 in Berlin before 1 a.m. Saturday.
According to a report on the Delmarvanow.com website, state police say an “extremely intoxicated” man was found lying on westbound Route 50 shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday.
Maryland state police said the man was sitting on a guardrail when officers and paramedics responded, alleging he shouted profanities and struggled with police.
Charles William Mitchell, 36, of the 7400 block of Durwood Road, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting/interfering with officers, according to online court records.
