The victim, who was declared dead at the scene, is Jason Andrew Meisenhalder, 40, of the unit block of Cedar Drive in Middle River.
Police do not suspect foul play, but the final cause and manner of death will be determined by an autopsy, according to police officials.
Police were called to the park for a "check on subject" call after receiving a report of a man lying on the ground at the park.
