Man Shot Friday Night on Four Georges Court in Dundalk

The unidentified victim is expected to survive his injuries, according to Baltimore County Police Department officials.

Baltimore County police are investigating a shooting that happened in Dundalk Friday night.

Police went to the 1600 block of Four Georges Court at 7:06 p.m. for the report of an individual with a gunshot wound, according to police spokesman Lt. Robert McCullough.

Police discovered a man at the scene who had been shot at least once in his lower body, according to McCullough; the injured man was standing in the area when he approached by others who began shooting at him.

The victim, whose identity is not being released at this time, was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.
The unknown suspects ran from the scene, according to McCullough.

The Baltimore County Police Department is asking anyone with information about the crime to call detectives at 410-307-2020.
