Memorial Service Set for Edgemere Hit-and-Run Victim

David A. Mack, 77, of Edgemere was killed March 14, after he was struck by two vehicles on North Point Road in Edgemere.

A memorial service is set for David A. Mack, the Edgemere man who was killed in a pedestrian hit-and run crash in Edgemere March 14.

Mack, who was declared dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel, was in the northbound lane of North Point Road near Delmar Avenue when he was struck by one vehicle and run over by a second, according to a preliminary investigation by Baltimore County police.

Both cars fled the scene of the crash.

A memorial service for Mack will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at the Duda-Ruck Funeral Home, 7922 Wise Ave., according to a notice on the funeral home's website.

The family requests that those desiring make memorial contributions in Mack's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka KS 66675.
