Middle River Man Sentenced for Killing Dundalk Man

John Leschefscky was sentenced to 30 years for the murder of Jeffrey Jennings.

A Middle River man was sentenced Friday in Baltimore County Circuit Court for the murder of a Dundalk man.

John Leschefscky received 30 years for the Sept. 11, 2011, who was killed at his Grey Haven Road home, according to a statement from Baltimore County State's Attorney Scott D. Shellenberger.

Leschefscky, who in November was also sentenced to a five-year consecutive term for a separate conspiracy to distribute charge. Baltimore County Circuit Court Judge Mickey Norman issued the sentence.

Jennings died of blunt force trauma. After killing Jennings, Leschefscky disposed of his body in a wooded area near Bengies Road in Middle River, according to the statement. The body was discovered by Baltimore County police officers on April 3, 2012.

Carollyn Duschl was previously sentenced to five years, with two-and-a-half years suspended, for being an accessory after the fact, according to the statement.
