Pedestrian Killed Near Eastpoint Mall

A Dundalk woman was hit and killed early Friday evening as she attempted to cross Northpoint Boulevard near the Eastpoint Mall.

Susan Davis, 45, of Dundalk, was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview after the crash where she later was pronounced dead.

"We received a call at 8:08 p.m. last night for a pedestrian struck in front of the Eastpoint Mall," Cpl. John Wachter said. "She was struck crossing North Point Boulevard by a Mercury Mountaineer traveling southbound and transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview."

The driver of the Mercury Mountaineer remained at the scene of the crash, Wachter said. 

The Baltimore County Police Department Crash Team is investigating. No charges have been filed or are pending at this time.
