Pedestrian Struck in North Point Road Hit-and-Run

A St. Mary's County woman was struck early Wednesday morning in a hit-and-run incident in Dundalk and remains in critical condition at Bayview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Vicki Marie Curtis, who is in her 30s, was found lying partially in the southbound lane and partially on the west shoulder of North Point Road south of Kimberly Road, according to Baltimore County police.

Police said Curtis was struck by an dark-colored sedan, possibly a four-door model, at approximately 12:50 a.m. Police believe Curtis may have been on her hands and knees when she was struck by the vehicle, which was traveling south on North Point Road.

The driver did not stop at the scene of the crash, acccording to police.

Baltimore County police said Curtis lives in the 20000 block of Treetop Road in Lexington Park, in St. Mary's County.
