Reward Offered for Fort Howard Arson Information

A partnership of three organizations is offering $10,000 for information that solves two recent fires on the Fort Howard VA Medical Center campus.

A partnership of organizations is offering a reward to help solve two arsons on the Fort Howard VA Medical Center campus.

The Office of the Inspector General for Veterans Affairs, the Baltimore County Police Department and Metro Crimestoppers have offered a $10,000 reward to the person who offers information that leads to the arrest, indictment and conviction of the parties responsible for two recent fires, according to police Spokeswoman Cpl. Cathy Batton.

Public safety and VA officials are looking for help solving the two fires that occurred on Aug. 8, 2011, and July 14 of this year.

The three organizations are working together on the investigation, Batton said.
