Royal Farms Robbed 2nd Time in 3 Weeks

Armed with a handgun, robber demanded money and cigarettes.

A convenience store in Dundalk was robbed for the second time in three weeks Saturday morning.

The Royal Farms store, located at the intersection of Dundalk and Baltimore avenues, was robbed by a single male suspect armed with a handgun, at 6 a.m., Saturday, Baltimore County police confirmed.

"The suspect confronted the clerk and demanded money and cigarettes," said Baltimore County police spokesman Det. Cathy Batton. "No one was injured."

How much money the robber took was not immediately available.

Batton said detectives reviewing the covenience store's survelliance tape. It has not been determined whether the armed robbery is linked to the previous robbery of the Royal Farms store or a string of recent convenience store robberies.
