Sketches Released in Club Baltimore Shooting

Baltimore County police are searching for two "persons of interest" in the July 2 shooting death of George William Bryant.

Baltimore County Police released two sketches of men who are considered “persons of interest” in connection .

George William Bryant, 36, of the 1500 block of Pentwood Avenue, was shot around 2 a.m., while outside Club Baltimore, located on the 8000 block of Pulaski Highway.

Police spokesman Det. Cathy Batton said Bryant was shot multiple times and was later pronounced dead at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

According to a news release, Baltimore County Police detectives are trying to identify the men from these sketches.  

“There are no arrest warrants at this time,” Batton said. “We just believe these men were at the club at the time of the shooting and may have information important to the investigation.”

The shooting was the latest in a string of disturbances at Club Baltimore.

Baltimore County police Chief Jim Johnson said he's concerned about fights, noise complaints and assaults during the past 18 months. He said in a recent news release that he was prepared to take action against the club if improvements were not made soon.

Club Baltimore Manager G. Singh  that the establishment has taken several steps to reduce outside noise and minimize the chance of fights.
