Two Baltimore County police officers are on administrative leave after a police involved shooting left one man dead in Dundalk early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to Seaside Road and Dunmanway at about 2:15 a.m. on Sept. 23 to investigate a "suspicious subject," Lt. Robert McCullough stated in a press release.
"The officers were attempting to interview the subject when he became combative. The subject then suddenly attempted to take one of the officer's firearm. Fearing for the officers' safety, a second officer pulled out his firearm and shot the subject," McCullough stated.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by Baltimore County Fire Department Paramedics, according to the release.
McCullough described the two officers involved as veterans of the police department. Pending an investigation by Baltimore County Police Homicide Detectives, the officers have been placed on administrative leave, the release stated.
No further details were released as of 9 a.m. Sunday.

One would think a serviceman would respect authority and cooperate with Police Officers. Why didn't he let them question him? Why didn't he let them search his bag? Why did he resist arrest? Could it be that because he was a serviceman he would be in deep s#!+ if he caught with stolen property and thought his best chance was to try to avoid arrest? Did you ever consider that possibility? And how was I put in my place in the other article?
