Dundalk Thieves Take Off-Duty Cop's Gun; Also Target Money, Jewelry

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Dec. 22: Robbery, 8200 block of Eastern Boulevard, 21224

At 1:40 a.m., the victim was leaving Malibu Beach when an unknown suspect assaulted him and took money from his pocket.

Dec. 21: Armed robbery - knife, 2800 block of Plainfield Road, 21222

At 12:10 a.m., the victims were walking through the area when the suspects approached them. The suspect displayed a knife, but the victim was able to take it from him. The victim stabbed the suspect and then fled. The juvenile suspect was later found at a hospital receiving treatment. The second suspect is a male, 16 to 20 years old.

Dec. 20: Theft, 1400 block of Merritt Boulevard, 21222

At 7:45 p.m., the gun of an off-duty officer was taken from the restroom.

Dec. 20: Armed robbery, 3200 block of North Point Road, 21222

At 4:40 p.m., a man entered the home and took prescription medication, money and jewelry from the victims at gunpoint. The suspect is a male, 20 to 30 years old, 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds.

Dec. 19: First-degree burglary, 200 West Woodwell Road, 21222

Between 10:48 a.m. and noon, an unknown suspect entered the home through the front door and took electronic equipment.

Dec. 18: First-degree burglary, 1800 block of August Avenue, 21222

Between 1 and 6:30 p.m., an unknown suspect smashed a window to enter the home and took jewelry and a purse.

Dec. 17: Attempted armed robbery, 7100 block of North Point Road, 21219

At 2:11 a.m., a man armed with a knife entered the 7-Eleven. The suspect displayed the knife and demanded money. The victim punched the suspect when he attempted to walk around the counter. The suspect then fled from the store. The suspect is a male.
