Woman Critically Injured in Merritt Boulevard Crash

In the one-car crash in Dundalk, a woman hit a tree and is being flown to a hospital for treatment of critical injuries.

Baltimore County emergency personnel are on the scene of a car crash in the 2100 block of Merritt Boulevard.

In the one-car crash, a female driver hit a tree near 2110 Merritt Boulevard and is being flown out to a local hospital with critical injuries, according to Louise Rogers-Feher, a spokeswoman for the Baltimore County Fire Department.

The police department got the call about the crash at 4 p.m., Rogers-Feher said.

Traffic on Merritt Boulevard was rerouted for a time between Dunmanway and Sollers Point Road, but is now open again.

The crash team is still on the scene and no other information is available at this time, according to Rogers-Feher.
