Baltimore County Announces Holiday Schedule

Offices and services are closed Monday and trash and recyclables will not be collected.

All Baltimore County government offices and the District and Circuit courts will be closed on Monday, May 28, in recognition of Memorial Day.

Health department clinics, libraries, senior centers and trash and recycling drop-off centers will all be closed, according to a statement from county officials, nor will CountyRide vans operate.

County residents whose trash or yard materials would normally have been collected on Monday should set those materials out on Monday night for collection on Tuesday, May 29.

Residents whose recyclables would normally have been collected on Monday are asked to hold these materials until the next scheduled collection date of June 4.

Pickup times may occur later than usual during the week following Memorial Day, according to the statement. If a collection doesn't occur on the scheduled day during this period, materials should be left out until collection occurs.

While trash and recycling drop-off centers will be closed on Monday, they will be open with normal hours Friday and Saturday, May 25 and 26. County offices will be open with normal business hours on Friday.
