The Sun's survey was conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, a research firm that specializes in organizational health and employee engagement, according to the CCBC statement.

In the survey, employees weighed in on their company's sense of direction, its ability to execute policies and procedures and the connectivity they feel with their respective companies, according to the CCBC statement.

Employees also answered questions about their day-to-day job duties to determine how they feel about their pay and benefits, level of support from managers and opportunities for career development.

"It is our employees who really deserve the credit for making CCBC a great place to work," Kurtinitis said in the statement. "I am proud to lead such a terrific institution."
