Christina’s Female Revue Fined $500 After Assault

A Dundalk adult entertainment business is cited for disturbing the peace following an assault of a patron outside the bar.

An adult entertainment business on North Point Boulevard was ordered to pay a $500 fine at a Baltimore County Liquor Board meeting last week following an assault that police allege occurred in bar’s parking lot.

Christina’s Female Revue in Dundalk was charged with a Liquor Board violation of disturbing the peace, stemming from an incident in the early hours of June 26 when two patrons were assaulted in the bar’s parking lot by a large group of men, according to Baltimore County police reports.

Christina’s Female Revue is the name of the business operating under Marc’s Vision, LLC., owned by Marcello A. Burdisi.

Two Baltimore County police officers responded to Franklin Square Hospital after a woman reported that her husband and brother-in-law had been assaulted outside Christina’s.

The woman’s husband was seriously injured in the assault, suffering a fracture to his right orbital area as well as a nasal fracture. His injuries were not life-threatening, but he was transferred to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma for facial surgery.

Burdisi disputed the contention that the assault had occurred in the bar’s parking lot. He contends that a brief altercation occured outside the bar between the two men alleged to have been assaulted and a patron but that security staff broke up the confrontation. Burdisi believes that the serious assault occurred later and off the bar’s property.

“There’s no evidence that it happened in the parking lot,” Burdisi said, calling the fine “unjust.”

A woman, who was to testify regarding the assault, was detained by Baltimore County police at the hearing beforehand because of an outstanding warrant.

Burdisi said he would like to appeal the fine but the attorney fees cost more than the fine.

Burdisi also told Patch that he’s considering building a fenced, outside smoking area to prevent parking lot problems in the future.

Christina’s was ordered to pay a $750 fine at a Baltimore County Liquor Board meeting on June 20 after serving an underage undercover police cadet. According to liquor board records, Christina’s has had eight hearings before the board since 2006.

“We work with bar owners to impress upon them that they are responsible for patrons, not only inside the four walls of their establishment, but in the parking lot,” Michael Mohler, administrator for the Baltimore County Liquor Board, said at the time the violation was filed. “And they’re responsible outside the parking lot as well if they serve an intoxicated person and it leads to a [driving while impaired charge].”
