District 7 Zoning Review Hearing is Tonight

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts.

Residents wanting to give testimony may sign up beginning at 6 p.m.

The CZMP takes place every four years and follows an exact schedule specified in the County Code, according to the Baltimore County Department of Planning website.

Any citizen may request a zoning change on any property in the County, although the usual participants in the process are individual landowners, contract purchasers, community organizations, county staff members, the Planning Board and the County Council, according to the website.

Proposed changes expected to draw a lot of comments, according to community leaders, include those proposed for the former Seagrams property at 7101 Sollers Point Road and the Sparrows Point Country Club on Wise Avenue.
