Maryland Casinos Post $13.5 Million in Revenue During April

Monthly revenue numbers continue to climb.

The Maryland Lottery has announced the April 2011 revenue numbers for the state’s two casinos—Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County and the Casino at Ocean Downs in Worcester County.

April’s statewide revenue totaled $13,560,746.63, bringing the cumulative fiscal year total for both facilities to $77,149,863.02.

The April total is up from the March statewide total revenue of $13,085,783.35. Total revenues in February were $12, 154, 339.58 and for January, $10,752,565.55.

Hollywood Casino Perryville generated $10,052,057.15 in April, bringing fiscal year-to-date revenue to $64,221,890.67 for the facility. April’s gross gaming revenue per machine per day was $223.38, and the casino is averaging $196.40 in daily per machine gaming revenue since opening on September 27, 2010.

Casino at Ocean Downs generated $3,508,689.48 in April, bringing fiscal year-to-date revenue to $12,927,972.35. The gross gaming revenue per machine per day is $155.94, and the daily per machine gaming revenue average since Casino at Ocean Downs opened on January 4, 2011 is $147.33.
