Last Chance: Register Today for Fair Housing Event

"New Neighborhoods Emerging from Older Communities" will be held April 18 at the Sollers Point Multipurpose Center.

Today is your last opportunity to register for "New Neighborhoods Emerging from Older Communities," a Fair Housing Month conference scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 18, at the Sollers Point Multipurpose Center, 325 Sollers Point Road.

The conference, held by the Baltimore County Human Relations Commission, will offer sessions on fair housing rights; community revitalization; affordable and accessible housing  for returning military veterans, the disabled and families; options for senior citizens to age in place; shelter care; and fair housing trends, according to an event flier.

The conference, which includes lunch, is free and open to housing professionals and members of the public who register.

Limited bus service is available from the west side of Baltimore County to the event site in Dundalk.
