Routine Bridge Work Will Cause Kane Street Detours

The Kane Street ramp to I-95 will temporarily close this weekend for bridge repairs.

Routine bridge deck repairs will cause some detours for Kane Street and I-95 travelers this weekend.

Weather permitting, the work will close the ramp from Kane Street to southbound I-95 for portions of Friday, Saturday and Sunday, according to Maryland Transportation Authority officials.

Northbound traffic will be detoured from Kane Street to Eastern Avenue, then to North Point Boulevard back to Eastern Avenue to southbound I-95, according to a statement from the organization.

Southbound traffic will be detoured from Kane Street to Dundalk Avenue to Holabird Avenue to Ponca Street to Interstate Avenue to southbound I-95.

The ramp will close at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and remain closed until 10 a.m. the following morning.
