Save the Government Center Group Not Giving Up

The group of local residents continues to use social media, in-person appearances to voice its opposition to the pending sale of the North Point Government Center.

After Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz on Tuesday made the announcement of a new $60 million redevelopment project planned for downtown Towson, organizers of Save the North Point Government Center posted the following on the group's Facebook page:

"Let's get ready to RUMBLE!!!! Wow Kevin! Great!!!! A new 60 million dollar mixed-use project for Towson!!! That's great!!! I guess you don't need our little government center PARK after all!!!!"

Local residents continue to voice their opposition to the pending sale of the center and its 27 acres of park land, both of which are heavily used by a broad spectrum of the community.
