Baltimore County McTeacher Night

The McDonald’s Family Restaurants of Greater Baltimore is pleased to honor Joshua Parker of Baltimore County, a finalist for the Maryland Teacher of the Year Award which recognizes elementary, middle and high school teachers that excel as both instructors and leaders within their communities.

To celebrate Parker’s accomplishment, the McDonald’s located at 8227 Liberty Road in Baltimore, MD, is hosting a “McTeacher of the Year Night” in his honor from 5 - 8 pm on Tuesday, October 18 . The event will allow members of Windsor Mills Middle School and the local Baltimore County community the opportunity to thank Joshua for his commitment to education. In addition, McDonald’s will donate a portion of all sales earned during the event to Windsor Mills Middle School and will be presenting Mr. Parker with several additional surprise gifts.

“The Maryland Teacher of the Year program recognizes some of the most distinguished and influential educational leaders within the state,” said Darla Strouse, Executive Director of the Maryland State Department of Education. “These twenty-four teachers come from each county with a common goal, to help our students achieve the highest standards in education. Our partnership with McDonald’s helps recognize that goal.”
